If you had to move house - with not a lot of notice - what would you take with you?

So it's raining here. Non-stop. Again.

And I got to thinking - if I had to move house, pretty suddenly and without a lot of notice,  what would I take with me?

What would I take with me if I had somewhere defined to go?

What would I take with me if I didn't have anywhere defined to move to?

It may be in the coming months, if the floods keep moving inland, that I have to move from my house down here at the bottom end of the property. 

But I have the classrooms at the top of the property. Somewhere defined I can shift to. And it's not that far away.

Many around us don't have that option. Some can move to family land further inland. Others have to relocate totally to districts of origin. And that is awkward. And costs money, especially with taxis hiking prices as they legally have to follow social distancing requirements. But then still they still cram in as many passengers as possible. At the inflated rates.  

Or households are staying put amongst rising waters, as they don't have anywhere, at all, to move to.
